July 4th at the Lake!

For the Fourth of July this year, we went to my grandparents' lake house at High Rock Lake. Aaron & Stacy were in town so it was really great to be able to celebrate America while they were actually in America!  :)  And it was fun that they have gotten to spend both of Davis's 4th of July's with him. Last year, he was only 4 days old on July 4th & slept through most of the day... so he decided to make up for it this year by boycotting his afternoon nap to spend more time with everybody.  :)

Davis's 1st Fourth of July!

Today is Davis's first 4th of July!  We also took our first field trip today over to the O'Hare grandparents' house for brunch & we (finally!) got to meet Aunt Eliza!  Here are some pictures from our festive morning...
