Hiking at Hanging Rock

Our friends Anneke and Moritz are in town from Germany so we took them to Hanging Rock last Saturday...and it was the perfect day for it!  It was a gorgeous day and the temperature couldn't have been any better.  :)
Pre-hike. Minus Aaron, our photographer.
Hahaha, nice Eliza. Glad you're always camera-ready!

Trip to the Natural Science Center

Last week, I took Davis to the Natural Science Center. It was FINALLY pretty weather and we were dying to do something outside! So we went with some friends to the outdoor zoo section of the Natural Science Center. Please spring, don't leave us.
Pretty day!
The babes!
Chillaxin.  :)
Meeting the alpaca. Basically a little llama.
Davis was intrigued.
It definitely brought back memories of my childhood.  :)

Cookouts & Cornhole!

I really love spring time.  Partially because my birthday's in the spring and I love birthdays.  :)  And partially because I love the weather & how beautiful all the new blooms are!  Since this is our first spring with a back yard, we're trying to take advantage of that with lots of cookouts with friends!  Last weekend, we had some of the Westover middle school volunteers over and we had such a great time... can't wait to have them over again soon!!

Sara, me, Anna, Donya, and Maggie  :)
Westover is blessed with really, really great volunteers in the middle school.  These are just a few of them, but they are all pretty amazing!  And if anyone is ever interested in volunteering, I know a guy who would love to get you connected...  ;)  Ha
